Always Apply! You will never know if you qualify unless you apply. Fill out a FAFSA form to see if you qualify for state or Federal Aid. http://www.fafsa.ed.gov. This can not be done until January of your senior year. To qualify for aid in California, you will also need to fill out a GPA verification form. Visit a counselor fill in your GPA. See if companies of parents and other relatives offer any scholarships. The smaller the applicant pool, the better your chances. Contact Mrs. Bega in the Career Center for scholarship information: 347-6544 Scoring well on the STAR test can qualify you for scholarship money from the state. If nothing else, you most likely will be able to get a low cost student loan.
