n There is more freedom – It is easier for students to fail or get in trouble. Keep track of what your student is doing.n Contact your student’s teachers! Early contact can head off problems before it is too late!n Get him/her involved in sports, clubs, tutoring programs. These activities will keep your student out of trouble.n Frequently ask your child about homework and projects. Do not assume everything is getting done or that everything is understood.n Go to back to school night!
